How it stacks up, my honest take

A beautiful gem with stunning decor that gives you a taste of Mexico! My room was spacious and clean, making for a comfortable stay, while the friendly staff were a delight to interact with. Just a heads up, though, the restaurant could use some variety, but the atmosphere easily makes up for it.

The stay offered incredible outdoor beauty with lush landscaping and a stunning pool area that complemented the exquisite decor. The friendly staff went above and beyond, ensuring a pleasant experience by quickly providing a refrigerator when requested. Dining was a highlight, featuring delicious meals that included fresh fruits, making every bite memorable. However, the short stay left little time to enjoy all the amenities, and the room was slightly smaller than expected for the price, leading to a cozy but cramped feel.

What a beautiful jewel this place is, with its gorgeous architecture and the warm service from the staff, especially at the bar where they make amazing freshly juiced drinks. I truly felt embraced by the quality and charm during my stay, and can’t wait to return and explore the nearby parks and the New Mexico State University campus a little more.

great room but disappointing restaurant hours

The staff provided superb assistance throughout our stay, making us feel welcomed. We enjoyed a romantic view of the sunset and city lights from our large room, which added a special touch to our visit.

But the restaurant was closed on Monday, which limited our dining options.

My stay at Hotel Encanto was good! The gorgeous decor and friendly staff. I appreciated the location Only downside, some outdated room features. A unique and enjoyable visit, capturing the Americana spirit.

Look, I gotta tell ya. One instance was when I needed to switch rooms because of some noise, and they handled it without any fuss, super accommodating. Another great moment was at the hotel bar where they had a fantastic selection of drinks, and the bartender was a gem.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for the experience, I think it was worth it.

The food at Mezcla was a delightful surprise, with some tasty seasonal dishes that hit the spot! We also loved the friendly staff who quickly brought us a mini fridge when we asked. Plus, the location is a breeze for grabbing local snacks at nearby joints like Raising Cane's or hopping over to The Pecan Grill and Brewery for a brew!

Our room had its quirks, with a dusty lamp and a bottle cap by the bed that gave off a 'lived-in' vibe. why can't we chill with a nightcap? Still, we made the best of it, enjoying our cooler’s worth of treats.

The staff was super friendly and quickly brought us a refrigerator when we asked. The location is convenient, just a short drive from major freeways I-10 and I-25. Enjoyed checking out the great variety of gifts and snacks in the hotel store.

No reservations needed at the restaurant, yet good tables were reserved.

Comfortable king bed, beautiful outdoor swimming pool, and a great restaurant with tasty breakfast options make this hotel a wonderful choice for a relaxing stay.

This hotel suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, a lovely bar area, and an outdoor pool. The staff once shared great tips about the town during my first visit, which I appreciated. I highly recommend it!

I loved the fine Spanish-style architecture that gives this place such a unique character. The outdoor pool area felt like a mini oasis, surrounded by palm trees and bright flowers Plus, the friendly staff quickly brought us a refrigerator to keep our drinks cool, talk about service with a smile!
